Who are we?

At MurderPartyGame.com, we make the most extraordinary murder mystery games you are ever likely to play.  Our games are designed to be played by eight people, and each game contains everything you need to have an extraordinary evening of entertainment. Why are our games different?  A few things:

First, unlike most other murder mystery games, these are real mysteries. A lot of products out there have "cutesy" endings - 'everybody' is the murderer, the dog did it, etc.  Our game is packed with humor and as well as fun, but at the core is a real mystery that is tricky and challenging.  Compare it to Murder She Wrote.

Second, players are given complete mobility of their character. In other words, they can lie. The only rule is that you should try to do what your character really would do. Many games out there contain scripts or tightly structured statements each character must make. Or worse - no one can lie! That's no fun!  With our games, a player is given a Character Packet which tells them what they know, what they saw, what they did, who they are, and so on. From that point on, it is up to the character to decide what to reveal and when. This makes the game ten times more fun and more real - players are not simply actors reading scripts. Nevertheless, our games are so carefully crafted that even with the lies and deception, an astute player can solve the crime with complete assurance. 

Third, our games are packed with physical evidence; this evidence is critical to solving the crime. For instance, a kit might contain a torn playing card found on a body, a buffalo nickel left at the crime scene, and a letter found in the dead man's pocket. This all adds another element of reality and fun to the game as players examine the evidence and decide 'who done it.'
